Summary:Syntaxonomic revision of the order Stipetalia krylovii Mirkin in Gogoleva et al. 1987 of the class Cleistogenetea squarrosae including steppes of Eastern Siberia and Mongolia was executed. The results of analysis performed demonstrated considerable distinctions between various geographical and zonal types of the Cleistogenetea squarrosae steppes and impossibility to include them in the system of one order Stipetalia krylovii. Typical steppes of Mongolia and Southern Siberia were included in the order Cleistogenetalia squarrosae Mirkin et al. ex hoc loco (diagnostic species are the same as for the Cleistigenetea squarrosae). Holotypus of the order is the alliance Poo attenuatae-Cleistogenion squarrosae Mirkin et al. ex hoc loco (diagnostic species: Poa attenuata, Cymbaria dahurica, Koeleria macrantha, Leymus chinensis). The alliance represents grass steppes of Eastern Mongolia. The association Poo attenuatae-Stipetum grandis Kashapov et al. ex hoc loco is holotypus of the alliance. Dry steppes were included in the order Kochio prostratae-Stipetalia krylovii ord. nova hoc loco (diagnostic species: Kochia prostrata, K. iranica, Convolvulus ammanii, Ptilotrichum canescens, Sibbaldianthe adpressa, Scorzonera ikonnikovii, Krascheninnikovia ceratoides, Stipa glareosa, Allium polyrhizum). Holotypus is the alliance Kochio prostratae-Stipion krylovii all. nova hoc loco (diagnostic species are the same as for the class). Association Allio ramosi-Stipetum krylovii Larionov et Ermakov ass. nova hoc loco is holotypus of the alliance Kochio-Stipion krylovii. The order Stipetalia krylovii (diagnostic species: Stipa krylovii, Artemisia commutata, Festuca lenensis, Poa transbaicalica, Saussurea amara) includes northern extra-zonal floristically very poor steppes of Central Yakutia. All problems related to the diagnoses of Central Asian steppes higher units are discussed. Представлены результаты синтаксономического анализа высших единиц настоящих и опустыненных восточносибирско-центральноазиатских степей. Проведена ревизия порядка Stipetalia krylovii Mirkin in Gogoleva et al. 1987, описанного из центральной Якутии. Показаны его отличия от настоящих степей Южной Сибири и Монголии, которые предложено рассматривать в порядке Cleistogenetalia squarrosae Mirkin et al. ex hoc loco. Опустыненные степи Южной Сибири и Монголии предложено рассматривать в составе нового порядка Kochio prostrataeStipetalia krylovii ord. nova hoc loco. Проведена валидизация союзов Poo attenuatae-Cleistogenion squarrosae Mirkin et al. ex hoc loco и ассоциаций Poo attenuatae-Stipetum grandis Kashapov et al. ex hoc loco. Описаны новый союз опустыненных степей Kochio prostratae-Stipion krylovii all. nova hoc loco и его номенклатурный тип – ассоциация Allio ramosi-Stipetum krylovii Larionov et Ermakov ass. nova hoc loco из Алтае-Саянской горной области. Обсуждены диагностические особенности высших единиц класса Cleistogenetea squarrosae Mirkin et al. ex Korotkov et al. 1991.
