Summary:This article looks at the ways in which the Indigenous peoples of Canada, predominantly Inuit, and their relationship with nature are presented in Zacariah Wells’ collection of poetry, Unsettled. Addressing the relationship between colonists and native peoples, as well as exploring cultural elements of mythology and belief, this article aims to analyse the ways in which Wells depicts the presentation, perception and destruction of Inuit tradition and culture.
