All actives, alumnae, patrons and patronesses are invited to attend. At 7:30, preceding the program, a business meeting will be held for actives, to be conducted by chapter president Bonita Stutrud. Program numbers will be based on the German Romantic period. Appearing on the program are Lois Harris, playing Brahms' "Intermez-zo," Opus 117 and Mary Elstad, playing Bach's "Toccata in C' Ma-jor." Beverly Losett will sing "Der Nussbaum" by Schumman; Sherry Bjorklund will play "Intermezzo," Opus 118, No. 2 by Brahms; and Beverly Johnson will play Bach's "Fugue in G Minor." Beverly Bergh will sing Schubert's "Dedication" and Thelma Halverson will sing "Knabe und Veilchen" by Eric Wolf and Rubenstein's "Es Blinkt der Thau." A reception will be held In Fellowship Hall of Trinity Luth-eran Church, Bismarck/ N. D., for Concordia alumni, former students and friends of Concor-dia at 9:30 p.m., October 19, the opening day of the North Da-kota Education Convention. The reception is sponsored by the Bismarck - Mandan Cobber Club, Mrs. T. S. Grimsrud, pres-ident. STUDENT CHAPEL A variety of musical talent will be displayed at student chapel to-day. Two vocal solos are being presented by Sonia Lee and Lyle Hanson and a brass quartet com-posed of Paul Opsahl, David Hans, Dean Olson and Loren Waa will also play a number. Jule Hend-rickson, Geri Ness and Donna Math-ison will present a vocal trio se-lection. LSA "The Bible as Literature" is the theme of the LSA program Sunday at 6:30 p.m. in Old Main chapel. Mr. Fietz is the speaker for the evening. A hymn sing will be led by Stan Rosengren, and a vocal solo will be sung by Verlys Malme. Ivan Ives, t e a m captain, is in charge of the program. MISSION CRUSADERS Ruth Johnson will speak on her teaching experiences in the Sudan Mission of Africa Sunday at Mis-sion Crusaders at 8:30 a.m. in Old Main chapel. Glenn Anderson will lead the program. PRAYER FELLOWSHIP Singspiration and inspiration will be found at Prayer Fellowship to-morrow night at 6:30 in Brown Hall chapel. Mons Teig will bring the message from the Word. Semester Officers Elected By Clubs MONTANA CLUB At a recent supper meeting the Montana Club elected the follow-ing officers: Clarence Cummins, president; James Grovom, v i c e - president; Muriel Johnson, secre-tary; Ralph Holmlund, treasurer, and Darlene Aarestad, senate rep-resentative. OTD New officers for OTD (National Sorority for Future Home Econo-mists) are Joyce Flatten, president; Shirley Hammer, vice president; Dorothy Lee, secretary; lone Wol-lertson, treasurer; and Janet Lang-lie, senate representative. Remember GAMBLES The Chapel Choir recently elect-ed officers for the first semester. Filling the position of president is Clarence Thompson; Lois Harris, secretary-treasurer; Paul Narve-son, manager; Norma Jordahl, li-brarian; and Gail Brown, senate representative. Brigg's Floral Co, 721 Center Avenue South Hall residents have elect-ed Mary Rasmussen as dorm presi-dent, with Beryl Tweten as veep and Pauline Savereide and Julia Edwards serving as secretary and treasurer respectively. Jackie Maas was chosen as senate representa-tive. The house council includes the following "Southerners": Char-lotte Cahill, Carol Nybakfcen, Yvonne Lambie, Phyllis Oslie, Ru-ble Hanson, Joyce Birkeland, Ann Drummond, Diane Sands, Beverly Stene, Dian Sharp, Hazel Burns, Jean Knutson and Luella Lee. Grose Hall also held dorm elec-tions recently. Viola Christianson is president: Faith Halverson, vice president; Joyce Flint, secretary, and Gayle Olson, treasurer, with Elizabeth Tveit as senate repre-sentative. Council members of Brown Hall this semester are Julian Erickson, president; Vernon Rice, secretary-treasurer; Norman Ellingson, Ver-non Rice and George Madsen, sen-ate representatives.
