The party, which began at 6:30, featured an audience-participation pro-gram. In charge of arrange-ments were Ileene Nelson and Gus Holte. Last night, Thursday, Novem-ber 29, MSP-STP had a camera and chili party to which they in-vited the Alpha Zetes-Athen-ians. Cameras clicked as society members posed for pictures be-hind scenes which had been set up. Jon Salmonson and Delores Quam were in charge of this party which was held in the communtiy room at the Gate City Bank Building. LDR LDR was held Wednesday night, November 28, in the south lounge of Fjelstad at 7 p. m. Mrs. Opsahl was the speaker and Geri Ness lead in devotions. BIBLE STUDY Student-led Bible Study will be held Friday at 6:30 p. m. in Old Library 104. Bill Wolfram will be the sepaker. The study is in James 1:5-26. PRAYER FELLOWSHIP James Kloster, a senior from Minneapolis, will be the speaker at Prayer Fellowship, Saturday at 6 p. m. in Brown Hall Chapel. Note the change in time. LSA LSA will be held Sunday in the gym at 5 p. m. Supper and recreation will follow the pro-gram which will be presented by a deputation from the Uni-versity of North Dakota. MISSION CRUSADERS Mission Crusaders will be held at 9:30 a. m. in Old Main Chapel Sunday morning. J. get re-acquainted with the route they will take when they leave for the East for Christmas vacation. Ann and Don are members of the newly formed Commuters club. Easterners Organize The Commuters Club Twenty-four students on cam-pus from the Eastern part of the United States have organized a new club, The Commuters. The dub was originally dubbed "Eastern Stars" but on second thought was renamed. The Com-muters claims as members all students from north of the Ma-son- Dixon line and east of War-ren, Pennsylvania. The group was organized this fall by John Skeie from Brooklyn, who is Society Sponsors All School Party Next Thursday, December 6, Chi Zetes and Chi Delts are sponsoring an all school party to be held in the gym beginning at 8 p. m. A talent program will intro-duce the various members of this society. Dean Schennum will be Master of Ceremonies for the program. There will be square dancing and various games offered. An unusual prize will also be awarded before the lunch is served. Yule Goodies Sold On Thursday, December 6, the Women's League will have a Christmas coffee hour and food sale in the North Gym. This will be held from 2:30-5 p. m. and is open to all students, fa-culty and the public. serving as chairman. It is de-scribed by members as a "loose confederation," getting together sami-occasionally for social pur-pose. Members of this spontaneous group, which is about one-fourth the size of the similar Montana Club, come from three states. There are four Cobbers from New Jersey; Bill and Jim Green-an, Donald Nelson, William Weinbrenner. Ann Drummond is the sole representative of the state of Maine. New York has sent nineteen students to the campus of Concordia. They are Lorraine Olson, Bob Brown, Tom Faaland, Louis Hermansen, Bob Isaksen, Albert Orrok, John Skeie, Niels Thorson, Helen Schmid, Jack Larson, Joan Blair, Carolyn Martini, Curt Corgan, Henry Hansen, Ray Jensen, John Johnson, Harold Natvig, Jerry Olsen and Donald Thorsen. Plans Supper Party Chi Nu Chi is planning to have its Christmas party on Monday evening, December 3. The party will be in the form of a supper beginning at 5:30 p.m., with a social hour following. The third floor lounge of Park Region will be the location of this party. Barbara Johnson, chairman, stated that games will be played and that gifts will be exchanged. The other officers elected were Barry Bummer, vice presi-dent and Lenore Anderson, secretary-treasurer. Philosophers Meet Dr. Herman Larson will ad-dress the Philosophy Club at ihsir December 13 meeting. He will speak on the question "Is God In History?" A musicale celebrating Foun-ders' Day was held in the reci-tal hall of the music building following the initiation. All ac-tives, alumnae, patrons and pa-tronesses were in attendance. Thelma Halvorsen and Audrey Hugelen were in charge of the program. It opened with a special Founder's Day ritual led by Audrey Hugelen, followed by a flute solo, played by Su-zanne Solum and accompanied by Faith Halvorsen. Wendell Buckley, a patron of the sorority, sang, accompanied by Roy Stahl, a patron. Audrey Hugelen and Bonnie Lee played piano solos. Beverly Bladow, sang a few madrgals. Composing the group were Geri Ness, June Tawser, Evonne Mathison, Bruce Thomp-son, David Thomas, Rey Larson and Rodney Rasmus. The pro-gram concluded with a string group playing "En Septuor" by Saint Saens. This group con-sisted of Sara Holgate, La Verne Seibert, Marcia Foss, Nona Schultz, Karen Rondestvedt, Vio-lins; Faith Halvorsen, viola; Pat-ty Price, cello, and Alfred Mel-ting, bass. Following the program a re-ception was held and a supper was served. MusicGroupPlans Program, Party Mu Phi Epsilon will hold it| annual music program and party JMonday evening, December third, at eight o'clock in the Chapter Room on the College Campus. All actives, alumnae, patrons, and patronesses are in-vited to attend. The program and general arrangements com-mittee is comprised of Elizabeth Tveit, Elva Anderson, Borghild Torvik, and Mrs. W. S. Shaw. Audrey Hugelen, chapter presi-dent, will bring greetings. The program will open with a piano number by Audrey Huge-len. Thelma Halverson, soprano, accompanied by Borghild Tor-vik, will sing two Norwegian Folk Songs, "Lullaby on Christ-mas Eve" and "I am so Glad it is Christmas Eve" — both to be sung in Norwegian. Mrs. F. P. Aamoth will read the "Shoe-maker's Dream" by Edwin Markham. Faith Halvorson, vio-lin, will play a group of select-ed numbers. Dr. Maude Wenck will lead the audience in singing of Christmas Carols. Elizabeth Green, soprano, accompanied by Sherry Bjorklund will sing "O Holy Night." Christmas confections will be distributed by members of the Active Chapter and refresh-ments will be served.
