Those electing were the Men's Dorm, STP. At the meeting of the Men's dormitory council which was held last Thursday the follow-ing were elected as officers for the. year: Allan Bjertness, presi-dent; Sigurd Randa, vice presi-dent Ingemar Larson, secre-tary, and William Niebuhr, treasurer. George Sparrow was appointed as devotions chairman and the three senate represen-tatives will be Allan Turmo, Walter Anderson and Gerhardt Lengen. Welcome Cobbers The Store of FRIENDLY PERSONAL SERVICE Special Music Will Highlight Week's Religious Programs Paul Mathre's topic for LSA discussion Sunday is "Thy Word Is Truth". The meeting will be held at 6:30 in chapel. Devotional leader is Earnest Stadum. Eleanor Odegaard will play a piano solo. A mixed quartet, including John Knight, Janet Baglien, Paul Hanson and Mar-jorie Baeverstad, will sing. Iver Iverson is organist. MISSION CRUSADERS The Mission Crusaders will meet Sunday at 8:45 a.m. in the college chapel. This meeting will be centered around the semester theme "Where Is Thy Brother?" Roger Corneliussen will speak upon the topic, "My Brother's Keeper". Sister Phyllis Larson will lead devotions and Dick Eich-enberger will sing a solo. LDR The LDR meets Wednesday evening, Oct. 4, at 6:45 in South lounge of Fjelstad hall. There will be a panel discussion concerning the aims and projects of the LDR. The members of the panel will be Lois Brodin, Lucille Njus, Orpha Solwold and Anita Gisvold. BROTHERHOOD The Brotherhood will meet Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 6:45 in the lounge of the Men's dormitory. Dean Boe will be the speaker of the evening. David Jordahl will play a violin solo and devotions will be led by Gerhardt Lengen. PRAYER FELLOWSHIP Prayer Fellowship meeting to be held Saturday evening at 6:30 in the chapel of the Men's dormi-tory. The program includes a hymn sing and a devotional talk "I Believe", by the recently-elected chairman, Norman E. Johnson. Also to be presented is the outline of the programs for the coming year.
