Lots of fun and refreshments guaranteed. Albert Fortman is in charge of general arrangemnts. Serving on the program committee are Ellen Flotlin, chairman, Kay Baarstad, Miles Johnson and Erling Linde. Marlys Meland, chairman, Barba-ra Strand and Dorothy Solberg will be in charge of refreshments. Lila Larson and Richard Moe are on publicity and Francis Flaa is in charge of decorations. Don't forget this is a hard times party. The committee promises hard times to anyone not dressed accordingly. Have any of you seen the South hall brigade going around with crossed fingers lately? If so, the reason obviously is that they are all madly hoping for one of those handsome, dashing Cobber specimens of manhood for their blind date Saturday night. Will their fondest hopes be fulfilled? Will it be their good fortune to land one of these gay young blades ? Ah, that only time can tell. Cobber Club Will Hold It's First Fall Meeting The Fargo - Moorhead Cobber Club will hold its first meeting of the year at 6 p.m. next Mon-day, Oct. 17, in the Home Econo-mics building. Three of four foreign students, Eetla Ein, Juri Jurisson, both of Estonia, and Raimonds Miesnieks of Latvia will hold a discussion on their various reactions to America. They will give their im-pressions of the college and talk about the problems of adjustment each of them has had to encounter on coming to a strange country. Besides the discussion there will be a short business meeting with election of officers for the coming year. Members of the club are former students and alumni of Concordia college living in the area of Fargo and Moorhead. MODELING THEIR CHOICES OF EVENING WEAR are Marvin Holt, Gordon Hanson, and Peter Telsberg who were found earlier this week selecting their ensembles for the junior-senior hard times party tomorrow night. Life Of Scarlotti To Be Reviewed The works of Dominico Scar-lotti will be the subject studied by the Mu Phi Epsilon society Monday evening, with Rachel Rei-nertsen giving the research on the composer and his works. Other numbers on the program will include a vocal solo, "Kan-zonette," by Viola Anderson. Elaine Olson will play three sonatas on the piano, B flat Major, D Minor and E Major, and Thei-ma Halvorson will sing "Ticomi Chiene." Hostesses will be Mesdames J. H. Hanna, F. B. Boyer and George Black. The meeting begins at 8 p.m. in the society chapter room. OTD Has Dinner Party The Omicron Tau Delta dinner was held last night at 6:15 at the Home Management house. Twelve junior girls majoring in home economics were the pledges. Committee members were as follows: program, Joyce Sharpo and Ruth Sellie; invitations, Cor-rine Blikstad and Ina Wollertson; favors, Bernice Hanson, Olive Hagstrom and Alfrieda Freiwald.
