Hazel Olsgaard heads the general ar-rangements committee. The Blue Room in the Powers will be the banquet room of the Nu Sigma Rho-Delta Rho socie-ties at 6 p. m. "Garden of Melo-dies" is to be the theme. The gen-eral arrangements are to be headed by Agnes Swanson. "Stardust" will be the theme of Lambda Delta Sigma-Alpha Epsilon Sigma banquet in the Memorial hall at 6:45 p. m. Ila June Youngberg is at the head of the general arrangements com-mittee. Alpha Zeta Phi-Athenian socie-ties are to hold their banquet in the Town hall in the Gardner. "Vacation in Mexico" is the theme chosen by the general ar-rangements committee with Beu-lah Hedahl chairman. To be held in the Star room of the Graver hotel is the Alpha Kappa Chi-Mondafnin banquet at 6:30 p.m. "Fathoms Deep" is the theme chosen by the general ar-rangements committee headed by Phyllis Awes. Phi Kappa Chi will hold their banquet at 6:45 in the Colonial room of the Gardner. Decorations and the program are to be cen-tered around the Dutch theme. Dorothy Haskins heads the gen-eral arrangements. Rickford To Play Piano Program Mrs. Adele J. Berquist of the Concordia conservatory of music will present Grace Rickford, pian-ist, in a concert at the Recital hall tonight at 6:30. Miss Rickford's program will be presented in five sections. The .first one will be "Sonata in C" by Dimitri Kabalevsky. The second number will be "French Suite in 'E" by Bach. Following the intermission Miss (Rickford will play "Sonata in D" •by Mozart. Her fourth section of the program will include pre-ludes toy Chopin. Two numbers make up the final portion of Miss Rickford's con-cert. They are "Intermezzo in E" and "Capriccio in G minor," tooth by Brahms. Entertain Seniors At Practice House Faculty members and seniors were honored at a formal recep-tion in the home management house Wednesday night from 8 to 10 o'clock. Six home economics seniors now living at the management house served the refreshments and ar-ranged for the entertainment. Music during the reception was provided by LaVine Skarsbo and •Dolores Berg, pianists, and Ethel jHovland. Catheryn W a m b h e im and Julianne Quamme, vocal so-loists. with the aria "Che faro sen zu Eurydice" from Gluck's opera, "Orpheus." This is to be followed by "It Is Finished" from "St. John's Passion" by Bach, with Miss Lusk at the cello. Included in the second group are "Gestilite Sehnsucht," Brahms, with Christiansen playing the viola obligato; "Oliet liebe Wan-gen," Brahms; "Der Tod und das Madchen," Schubert; "Mausfal-len- Spruchlein," Hugo Wolf. The third group i n c l u d e s "Chanson Triste," Henry Duparc; "La Cloche," Saint-Saens; "Man-doline," Debussey; "Det Forste Modes" and "Killingdano," Grieg. Concluding the program will be "Black Roses," Sibelius; "Tram-pin*," a Negro spiritual; "The Pas-ture," Naginski; and "Miranda," tiageman. Miss Johnson has a major in music and a minor in English. Her activities include Alpha Zeta Phi, Alpha Psi Omega, Mu Phi Epsilon, literary representative on the student forum and concert choir. Grose Coeds Plan Picnic Coeds of Grose hall will have a picnic Monday at 5:30 in the Moorhead park. Nancy Kingzett, social chairman, has appointed the following food committee: Vyonne Raaen, Adelaide Klyve, Lois Lar-son and Elsie Holter. Those on the clean-up committee are Elaine Bry, Irene Adams and Adeline Mourn. Election of officers will be held. General arrangements commit-tee consists of Borgni Skorpen, Selma Berge and Joan Heinz. On the program committee are Do-lores Severtson, Margaret Schroe-der and Miriam Aas, and serving on the decorations committee are lola Bjerke and Dagny Haugrud. New members to be admitted are Joyce Kvaalen, Marjorie Muel-ler, Marguerite Ellingson, Loretta Thomas and Beatrice Lundblad. Quamme, Gregor To Perform In Joint Voice Recital Tonight Speech Fraternity Have Dinner Pi Kappa Delta, national hon-orary forensics fraternity, will elect new officers and admit five members at a banquet Wednesday evening at 6:30 in the Fiesta room of the Gopher Grill. The program consists of initi-ation speeches by the new mem-bers who are Willys Nord, Elwyn Nissen, Robert Onkka, Fern Mar-tinson and Blanche Rockne. ARDYCE GREGOR Julianne Quamme and Ardyce Gregor, students of Miss Thelma Halvorson, will be presented in a joint recital tonight at 8 p.m. in the chapel. Each of the partici-pants will sing three groups of numbers. Songs to be sung by Miss Comprising her second group Campus Church Mission Crusaders To Hear Nilsen MISSION CRUSADERS Miss Frida Nilsen will speak at the next meeting of Mission Crusaders Sunday morning at 8:45 in South lounge of Fjelstad hall. Musical numbers will be giv-en by a trumpet trio composed of Donald Hagen, Philip Stenehjem and Ronald Johnson. A vocal solo will be sung by Bennett Harris. Devotional leader will be Orville Sunde. MEN'S BROTHERHOOD At the last meeting of the Men's Brotherhood in the college cafeteria Wednesday, A n s g a r Rykken sang a solo and Donald Hagen led in devotions. The con-stitution was adopted and a hymn-sing was held. LUTHER LEAGUE Speakers at the regular Luther League meeting, which will be held next Sunday evening at 6:15 in the college chapel, will be Viola Anderson and Willys Nord. They will present the topic "Life Ever-lasting." Raymond Brandt will lead in devotions. Marian Hoskins will play a pia-no solo and Shirley Olson and Ronald Johnson will sing a duet. The organist will be Ellen Flotin. L. L. EXTENSION PROGRAMS Luther League extension pro-grams will be presented at Borup, Minn., and Kindred, Grafton and Park River, N. D., on Sunday. At Borup, Otto Schmitt will be the speaker and Ruth Stenerson will lead in devotions. A piano solo will be played by Carol Reishus and Clifford Grindland will sing. A trio, consisting of Alice Ander-son, Edith Maasjo and Beverly Larson, will also sing. Speaker at the program to be presented at Kindred will be Sher-man Korshavn. Others included in this program will be Ralph Liv-dahl, who will lead in devotions, Margaret Waage, who will play a piano solo, and a vocal trio, con-sisting of Jean Mercer, Ethel Schuman and Doris Bakke. Rolf Aaseng will be the speaker at the program to be presented at Grafton and Park River. Leading in devotions will be Ervin Ydstie. Vocal solos will be sung by Ar-dyce Gregor and Luther Mohr. Marinda Thompson will play a flute solo. LDR Last Wednesday evening at the regular LDR meeting, Miss Clara Jones, missionary from China, spoke on "Christianity Plus." The devotional leader was Phyllis Hanson. Marinda Thompson played a flute solo and Leslie Mc- Rae played a piano solo. The of-fertory was read by Grace Bar-bie and Doris Schroeder was the pianist. Election of officers was also held. The newly elected officers are Blanche Rockne, president; 'Lois parson, vice president; Ruth Vikse, secretary, and Alice Marie Anderson, treasurer. Delegates were chosen to at-tend the circuit convention at Hal-stad, which will be held next Tuesday, and also to the general' LDR convention to be held in Minneapolis on June 14 and 15. Those chosen to attend the con-vention -at Halstad are Ramona Orvik and Adelaide Klyve. Blanche Rockne and Paula Tweet will go to Minneapolis. JULIANNE QUAMME will be "Won in and Die Forelle," Schubert, and "Der Nussbaumn," Schumann. Included in her final group will be "By a Lonely Forest Path-way," Griffes; "The Sleeping Princess," Borodin; and "Country Song/1 Dell A'cqua. Miss Quamme is a member of Lambda Delta Sigma, Mu Phi Ep-silon and the concert choir. The first group of numbers sung by Miss Gregor will be made up of "Se Flarinda de Fedele," Scar-latti, and "Thanks to Be Thee," Handel. To be included in her next group are "Auf dem Wassen," Schubert; "Du Bist die Ruh," Schubert; and "Mein Model hat einen Rosenmund," Brahms. Concluding the program, Miss Gregor will sing "Floods of Spring,'' Rachmaninoff; ''Symph-ony in Yellow," Griffes; and "Ful-fillment," Russell. Fjelstad Hall To Hold Last Party Of Semester To honor the newly elected members of the house council of Fjelstad hall, the retiring council members will give an informal party for the entire dormitory Monday night at 10 o'clock in South lounge. At that time an-nouncement will be made of the new officers. Serving on the food committee are Winifred Olson, Jean Knecht, Mary Jane Lake and Arline John-son. The program committee is headed by Vivian Vikan with Joyce Kvaalen and Isobel Fedje assisting. Mystery Solved Secret sisters will no longer be the mystery women on the cam pus after the picnic which will held Thursday at 5:30 in t Moorhead park. Lois Vikan, general chairman, has appointed Jean Andree as chairman of the food committee with Ruth Haaland, Winifred Ol-son and Irene Vollan assisting.
