All of these things encompass the Concordia Sons of Norway Lodge that is being organized on campus for college students called "Unge Venner," or Young Friends. The national Sons of Norway headquarters has chosen Concordia to be the core model to begin with and eventually they will branch out to other colleges, creating new lodges on campuses all over the nation. The first interest meeting is to be held on Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. in Frida Nilsen Lounge. Concordia's lodge will have ac-cess to the Sons of Norway Kr-ingen Lodge in Fargo to hold meetings or activities when desired. This new organization hopes to stir up Scandinavian interest and strengthen the Norwegian and Swedish Clubs, the Scandinavian Dance Ensemble and the Scan-dinavian Folk Ensemble. Paul Erickson, director of student ac-tivities, said, 'This is one organization which would be very worthwhile to get involved in because it provides numerous op-portunities not only for keeping up on our Scandinavian culture and heritage but also for leader-ship experience, service projects, recreation and social gatherings."
