(AP> '"Greetings From Asbury P;irk. N.J." Bruce Springskvn will Iv sii\ int: ii once auain to his l-ms Thanksgiving week. The Boss is slated to give two concerts there Nov. 25 and 26 to benefit the Boys and Girls Club ol Monmouih County, The Asbury Park Press of Neptune reported Sunday. Springsteen's debut album in 1973 was titled "Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J." Before its release, Springsteen had developed a devoted local following, playing clubs in this .seashore community. The upcoming concerts will take place in the Paramount Theater. Tickets, priced at S35 each, go on sale Wednesday, the newspaper reported. On Nov. 8, Springsteen played a benefit concert in nearby Freehold Borough, N.J., his hometown. That concert was open to Borough resi-dents only, but tickets for the Asbury Park concerts will be sold without restrictions, the newspaper said. "I think it's really very exciting that he's coming back lo Asbury Park and that he thinks enough of what we've done at the Paramount to come do a few shows for us," said City Manager Alan Fcit. The city has spent SI.5 million to refur-bish the 1930s boardwalk land-mark. It's believed that Springsteen last played the Paramount in May 1979, when he surprised an audi-ence by jumping on stage to per-form the Elvis Presley hit "Heartbreak Hotel." He also sarig his own song, "Fire."
