Sports Editor KENNETH BLACKHURST Photographer COVER PICTURE HAPPY JOE'S PIZZA PARLOR in Devils Lake invited the whole school—from the Superintendent down to the littlest student including teachers, staff members, and parents and their families—to a free pizza dinner on December 22. This also was the start of the two-week holiday vacation. Shown is one table of our students enjoying the feast. Santa, surprisingly, was very adept in the language of signs so communication was no problem. They say every one is learning signs- guess this proves it as the North Pole is about as inaccessible as you can get. Withour a doubt, every one wants Happy Joe's to know the gesture was very much appreciated.
