Summary:Kenneth and Lucille Sawby Kenneth and Lucille lived around Minot until the early 70's sometime. They then moved to the state of Washington, where they resided in Everett. Kenneth died in 1976. Lucille still resides in Everett with her daughter, LaDonna, and grandson, Byron. Kenneth and Lucille had 3 children; Jacqueline, LaDonna and Wayne. Jacqueline married Donald Boschert and moved with their 5 children (Bruce, Lucinda, Kenneth, Donna, and Traci) to Alaska. LaDonna married Frank Clinton in 1971. They had a son, Byron. LaDonna now lives with her mother and son in Everett, Washington. Wayne married Shirley and they live in New Port Richie, Florida with their 10 year old daughter, Kathy. Wayne also has 3 step-children; Beverly, Melinda and Jolene, all of whom are married (or about to be married) and living in Mississippi. Thomas and Leontyne Boschert Thomas and Leontyne had 3 children; Donald, Leona, and Edgar. They lived in North Dakota until Leotyne died in 1973. Thomas then moved to Wisconsin and lived with Steven and Leona until his death in 1978. Donald married Jacqueline Sawby and lived in North Dakota until 1962, when they moved to Seattle. From there, in 1975, they moved to Alaska, where they still reside today. They have 5 children and 4V2 grandchildren. All of the children live in Alaska, except Lucinda, who lives with her husband and four children in Tacoma, Washington. Leona married Steven Hrin, and moved from North Dakota to Wisconsin, where they still reside today. They have no children, but two Yorkshire Terriers who have all of their attention. Edgar was killed in a tractor accident when he was eleven years of age. Donald and Jacqueline Boschert Donald and Jacqueline lived in North Dakota from both of their births until 1962, when they moved to Seattle. From here, they moved to Alaska in 1975, where they still reside today. Donald and Jacqueline have 5 children, 3 of whom (Bruce, Lucinda, and Kenneth) were born in North Dakota, and they other 2 (Donna and Traci) were born in Seattle. Donald is a Tire and Lube man at Clear Air Force Station, about 120 miles south of Fairbanks, Alaska, while Jacqueline is a housewife and part time cook at a cafe in Nenana. Their eldest son, Bruce, is living in Anderson, Alaska and works for the City of Anderson as a carpenter and a jack-of-all-trades. Bruce is still single and has no children. Their eldest daughter, Lucinda, married Charles Whit- worth in 1975 and moved to Alaska in 1976. They have 4 children; Mark, Carlea, Kevin, and Christopher. They now live back in the Seattle area with all 4 children. Kenneth, the next one in line, married Patrica K. Mayo in September of 1982. They are expecting a baby any day now. Ken is a Part Man at Gene's Auto in Fairbanks, where they live. Donna comes next. She is still single until the end of May, when she will marry Russell King, a Fireman from Clear. Donna works for the Yukon-Koyukuk School District in Nenana, Alaska as a secretary. They plan on staying in the area for a little while, anyway. Last, but not least, there is Traci, a Junior in high school. She is the last one at home. Traci plans on going to Central Washington Uninversity after she graduates in 1984. She is going to be an Elementary School teacher. Orlo and Lois Markle Orlo (Bubbie) and Lois Markle moved to Burlington in the fall of 1956. They make their home in the Johnson Addition area, and have Markle Trucking. Lois and Bubbie have two children, Terry, who is married to Julie Tofstad. They have two boys, Jon and Steven and make their home in Minot. Roxane is married to Tom Crawford and is living in Bismarck, N.D. Jacob and Mary Clementich Jacob and Mary Clementich were married Jan. 8, 1895 at Cold Springs, Minnesota. Jacob was a member of a family that came early to the Mouse River valley, settling in the Burlington-Foxholm area about 1884 before the City of Minot was started. He is a native of Austria and his wife a native of Bavaria. They met as young people at Cold Springs. Jacob's father was one of the forty-niners. Coming from Austria the father joined in the gold rush in California, made a stake for himself and family, returned to Vienna. Some years later he brought his family over and settled first in Minnnesota. Jacob was 15 years old when he arrived in America. Mary was 5 years old when her family came to Minnesota from Germany. The Clementiches lived and farmed for many years in the Burlington and surrounding area for many years. After they left the farm they lived with their daughter Thressa and her husband Leo Schlimegen on the Burlington Project. They later moved to Minot after they retired. Jacob was the oldest living settler in Ward County in 1963 and received a certificate from Gretha Hook at the Old Settlers Park in Burlington. Jake was born Nov. 29, 1865 and died May, 1965. Mary was born Dec. 14, 1878 and died Jan. 1969. They had seven children: Theresa who married Leo Schlimigen and lived on the Project for many years with their two children, Gladys and Helen. They use to have a very large garden and sell strawberries and raspberries to the stores in Minot. George who married Grace Cross and have lived many years on the Burlington Project and raised 6 children. Alvin, Alice, Kenneth, Norma, George (Dutch) and Hallie. Joseph married Mae Coulton and lived in the Burlington area and raised 6 children. Marvin, Marie, Robert, Phyllis, Dorothy and Gladys. Mae died in 1934, Joe later married Cleo Fetzer. Cleo died 1963 and Joe died 1978. Michael died of a gunshot wound in 1923. Benejamin died of the flu epidemic of 1918. Barbara married Lloyd Kluver of Burlington in 1930, he died 1944. She later married Warren Dignan, he died in 1961. Warren had a daughter Patricia. She is married to Howard Haskins of Deering at the present time. Margaret married Herb Boese and moved to California and they had four children. Marjorie, Donna, Jack and Jerold. Herb died a few years ago. Marvin Clementich married Lily Hanson from Minot and lived in Minot for a few years. They moved to Burlington and bought the Molly Law house. Lily has been a cook at the school since 1960 and head cook since 1969, a total of 23V2 years. Marvin has been with the State Highway Department for 39 years. They have four children, Marvin J., Curtis, Diane and Carol. They have nine grandchildren. Marie Clementich married Robert Duhamel and moved to Idaho.
