Norris, 90 years old at the time of the interview, talks about growing up as one of fifteen children, speaking Norwegian at home, and learning English at school, and working as a carpenter. He also talks about his experiences in World War II as a radio operator in the Air Force. He was stationed on the Aleutian Islands and in Alaska during the war. He also worked as a mechanic for John Deere, International, Mace, and Caterpillar after the war. Audio cassettes; “Norris Wahl had 15 living brothers and sisters and 3 died. Family came from Norway.
