Description
Summary:During field work in the summer of 2013, mineral soil samples were collected in a grid of 1x2 km in the municipality of Hattfjelldal in Nordland county, as well as smaller areas in the adjacent municipalities Grane and Hemnes . Together with samples for quality control, the <2mm fraction of samples from 954 locations were digested by aqua regia and analyzed for 53 elements. Results are documented with respect to quality of data in tables of descriptive statistics, as well as plots of the cumulative probability function and by single element maps on a backdrop of bedrock geology.A selection of anomalies are briefly described, both areas of no known mineralizations, as well as anomalies of new elements in established ore-districts are covered. 62573
