国立極地研究所の文献検索

国立極地研究所の電子計算機の文献検索システムとしてPOLDOR (Polar documents retrieval)を開発した.このシステムは, TSS (Time sharing system)端末から会話型で必要な文献が捜しだせる遡及検索と,あらかじめ登録してあるキーワードに基づき,必要な文献情報が得られる速報検索から成っている他,索引誌リストを作るKWIC (Key word in context)索引誌システムもサポートしている.情報源は米国議会図書館から発行されているAntarctic Bibliographyの磁気テープで蓄積されている文献数は18,000件,年3～4回,1回につ...

Summary:国立極地研究所の電子計算機の文献検索システムとしてPOLDOR (Polar documents retrieval)を開発した.このシステムは, TSS (Time sharing system)端末から会話型で必要な文献が捜しだせる遡及検索と,あらかじめ登録してあるキーワードに基づき,必要な文献情報が得られる速報検索から成っている他,索引誌リストを作るKWIC (Key word in context)索引誌システムもサポートしている.情報源は米国議会図書館から発行されているAntarctic Bibliographyの磁気テープで蓄積されている文献数は18,000件,年3～4回,1回につき300～500件の文献が追加されてゆく. A system of documents retrieval was established for the HITAC M-160 II computer system which is installed in the National Institute of Polar Research. The system was named POLDOR (Polar documents retrieval) and worked in retrospective search and selective dissemination of information. The information source of POLDOR is Antarctic Bibliography published by the Library of Congress, USA and is supplied by magnetic tapes.
