Summary:Taxonomical study was made on the amphipod crustaceans collected from surface waters of the Southern Ocean (Australasian Sector). Ten species composed of 2 gammaridean and 8 hyperiidean amphipods were identified. Of them, 4 species, viz. Eusirus microps, Paramoera walkeri, Vibilia stebbingi and Hyperiella antarctica, are herein illustrated with description or remarks.
