Summary: | In this article, the authors deal with the foraminiferal fauna obtained from the bottom surface samples at 15 stations and those from the cores at 4 stations in the eastern part of Lutzow-Holm Bay, Antarctica, during the 15th Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition, 1973-1975. The sediment samples were taken at depths ranging from 8 to 644m. The distribution of the fauna and its characteristics are discussed oceano-geologically and biostratigraphically. |
