NINA report 772. 27 pp. Barlindhaug Consult AS is carrying out an environmental impact assessment (EIA) in connec-tion with the plans to establish an industrial area at Børøya, Hadsel municipality, Nordland County. NINA was contracted to do the EIA regarding vegetation, birdlife and other wildlife. The area for the planned industrial park had overall low-middle value. The dimensions are considered to be low-middle negative. The consequences are considered to be little - middle negative. Actions that can reduce the negative impacts on the natural environment are pre-sented and discussed.
