| Summary: | A new feather mite species Promegninia thalassarche sp. n. (Avenzoariidae: Bonnetellinae) is described from the Gray-headed Albatross Thalassarche chrysostoma (Forster) (Procellariiformes: Diomedeidae) from South Georgia Island.
