Summary:This report describes the preliminary results of the cruise of the Coast Guard icebreaker NORTHWIND* to the East Greenland Current during August - September 1984. 333 CTD stations were made mostly over the east Greenland continental shelf. 17 crossings of the East Greenland Polar Front were made as was a crossing of the Molloy Deep eddy. The West Spitzbergen Current was noted to turn westward predominantly north of 78°N.
