Summary:Eleven taxa of the genus Galerina are recorded from subarctic and arctic habitats in the vicinity of Shefferville, Labrador, Canada. They represent common, circumpolar species, such as G. sphagnorum, G. pumila var. subalpina, G. vittaeformis, G. atkinsoniana, G. paludosa, G. unicolor, and G. pseudomycenopsis, as well as rare species, recorded from arctic Canada for the first time, like G. cephalotricha, G. pseudomniophila, and G. subbadipes. Descriptions and illustrations are given of all taxa, as well as short comments on taxonomy, ecology, and geographic distribution.
