Arctic ice measurements with microwave radiometers

Arctic ice measurements with airborne microwave radiometers are compared to ground measurements. Ground measurements were made at approximately 74 deg N and 131 deg W, which is just inside the limits of the permanent polar ice pack off Banks Island. These measurements were taken in March 1971.
