Description
Summary:Looking northwest, towards Flower St., down The Spine from the library at the first of the pools, the Peregrine Falcon Pool; Small garden and plaza adjacent to the historic Central Library Goodhue building, part of the Richard Riordan Central Library complex. Jud Fine designed the sculptural program (including steps and fountains), called the Spine, for the Maguire Gardens (named after Maguire-Thomas Partners, heavy investors into the real estate surrounding the Library), which links the Goodhue building with the Bradley wing, opened in 1993.
