Summary:Co-operation instead of confrontation: This article deals with a possible trilateral collaboration between Germany, Norway and the Russian Federation in respect of exploration and exploitation of fossil fuels in Europe’s High North in the long-term. The envisaged project can be considered as possible best practice for peaceful coexistence a current crisis-shaken Europe. Autor wychodzi z założenia, że kooperacja międzynarodowa jest lepsza od konfrontacji. Na przykładzie współpracy Federacji Rosyjskiej, RFN i Norwegii pokazuje wspólne przedsięwzięcia w zakresie sektora energetycznego. Koncentrują się one na poszukiwaniu nowych złóż, wydobyciu gazu ziemnego na dalekiej północy i wspólnej eksploatacji nowych złóż.
