Description
Summary:A song which demonstrates the sounds of the letters of the alphabet by joining each of the consecutive consonants to each of the five vowels in turn & pronouncing the result. Here characterized as a "camp-fire" song from an Anglican girls' camp. MS, 25 gives the following explanation after the second verse: "the remaining verses continue on with each subsequent consonant, omitting the vowels. Each letter, in turn, is made to fit into the above scheme."
