Shows rocks, anchorages and seabottom features, with legend. Includes coastal view: High land of Cape Ray. Contains manuscript notes by W.E. Cormack, including his travels across Newfoundland in 1822, noting route, mineral resources, and geology on the west and south coasts. His handwritten legend has been transcribed and is found on Sheet 1 verso, as well as an illustration of the various folds and cuttings done to the map. CNS map no. 184. The map is cropped, worn, and cut into two sheets. It has been mounted as a conservation measure.
