Summary:This cellar is built deep into a hillside. It has a stone wall interior and has a 3.5m deep entrance into the cellar. Today it is filled with rocks and is barred up due to safety concerns. Originally this cellar had a shed structure on top with a hatch entrance. The shed has been completely removed and the ground above it has begun to sink. It was built by John Kennedy, a Scottish immigrant, in approximately 1860. It has been an inactive cellar since the early 1950’s. The exterior stone wall was rebuilt in 2008.
