Description
Summary:This cellar is a shed structure that has a hatch entrance leading down into the cellar. The cellar has a stone and cement foundation. It was built in 1952 by Father Patrick Kennedy’s father, and has been inactive for vegetable storage since 1956. It is unknown why it was built. At the time there were two other cellars on the property. One was very large and built into a hillside, which is still there today. But the other was torn down after this one was built. It is believed that the one that was torn down was too small, and the one in the hill side was too large.
