Summary:Root cellar on Ship Harbour Road in Ship Harbour. It is now owned by the son of Pat Griffiths. Pat Griffiths built the cellar in approximately 1950. It is built into a hillside, with three sides and the roof covered in earth. It is approximately 2m x 2m and is made fully out of concrete including the ceiling. The exterior of the cellar has a sod roof. It was originally used for the storage of vegetables, however after considerable flooding for a nearby brook; it was turned into a well. No longer used as a cellar but occasionally used for retrieving water.
