| Summary: | A photo of the well in the basement of Laurie Legrow's home, off Hodgewater Line, near Makinsons. The well is a rectangular structure, with a rock lining beginning below the concrete floor of the basement. It has interior measurements of 57" by 36" and the exterior frame measures 62.3" by 46". The concrete lip of the well sits 15" above ground level and total depth of the well is 81.5". At the time of documentation, the water level was 39" below the lip of the well. There is a concrete drainage channel running from one end of the well, for periods when water levels are high. The well has a hinged wooden cover.
