Summary:A mill lunch basket belonging to Mabel Brenton. Created by the Peterboro Basket Co. of New Hampshire, date unknown. Wood used is Appalachian white ash. Used by her husband, William Howard Brenton, when he worked in the mill in Corner Brook. William Brenton worked in shipping in the mill and was the vice president of the union, Local 64. Wm. Brenton was born 1930, and worked in the mill until 1989. He passed away 2002. Inside view of basket, close up on hinges and "24x25", hand written in pencil by Wm. Brenton.
