Summary:The early schools in Branch were located in peoples houses. By the early-1900s, this large schoolhouse - across from the location of the current church - was the centre of education for many Branch children. Starting in 1968, high school students were bussed to neighbouring St. Brides to attend school. In 1992, elementary students joined those attending school in St. Brides and the school in Branch closed.
