Angèle Kerfont parle de son hésitation à raconter des histoires devant les gens qu'elle ne connait pas. Elle conte « Le Renard », qu’elle a appris d'Olive Marche. Les deux femmes donnent un peu d’histoire personnelle avant de revenir au sujet des contes. Blanche Ozon parle de son père, qui était conteur. Angèle refuse de conter un conte qu’elle trouve indécent et conte plutôt l’histoire « The Jug of Gold » [La cruche d'or], qu’elle a appris d'Anthony Jesso.
