Describes a pilot project in community health nursing in the communities of Fleur de Lys and Coachman's Cove on the north east coast of Newfoundland. Dr. Douglas Black and his family practice nurse, Miss Beth Samson, describe the family practice nurse's role in these communities and her links with the Communtiy Health Centre in Baie Verte.
