[iv] the author quotes DNE _bough house_, and other variants, and goes on: 'If, however, my memory serves me at all, we in that partic- ular place of our childhood on the west coast of Newfoundland, called it _boughwolfen_'--'I have also heard the same referred to as _bough roofit_'. Author born in Placentia Bay (Mer sheen) but moved as a child with family to Corner Brook. Most of DNE evidence is east coast.
