Description
Summary:tiddly n My father says that during his boyhood, there was no such game as baseball or hockey to occupy the lads. However one game the lads did play quite a lot of was "_Tiddley"._ They played this game in the following way. Each lad had two sticks. One long one about 3-4 ft in length and one short one 1/2-1 ft in length. The game was played by the lads placing the short stick upon a rock or some object [Reverse] with part of it hanging out over. The part hanging out over was hit by the long stick, which sent the shot on flying through the air. The short stick that went farthest was the winner.
