Description
Summary:tongue This is a term, meaning a bowling-out when somebody is mad at you and gives you a lecture on your behavior. Usually, it is your parents or a teacher, but it can be anyone. For example, once the ministers wife in Heart's Content gave me a 'tongue-banging' because I lost my shoes at a garden party. Usually, though, only parents and teachers yell at children. I think that the term goes out of use as people grow up, but it is still used at University when a professor lectures a student. Yes J.D.A.
