ugly v .the other kind I spoke about, they didn't have the leather top on 'em; they just put a tap on the bottom. Some places (they) used to say they'd ugly 'em - get a pair o' boots uglied. Now whatever in the dickens they meant by that, they'd get their boots uglied....
