Description
Summary:puss n In Terrenceville that time of the year will come when all the children will start playing "_Puss_." It usually is the game for the spring. It is played with two sticks:- one is a long one used for flicking the other; the other is a short half round stick. [reverse] pointed at both ends. To play the players (as many as you like) divide up into teams. One team gets in first, usually decided upon by throwing up a flat rock, wet on one side and dry on the other. The team that picked the side that it landed on is in. You then dig a small hole in the ground. Each player goes through 3 stages, flicking, hitting and offers. (1) flicking, the player lays the puss on the long stick and flicks it. The opposite players try to catch it. If they do, he is out. If not, he lays the stick across the hole and try to hit the stick by throwing the puss. If it does hit it, he goes on to hitting. (2) He hits the puss this time. This time they try to knock him out by putting the puss within a certain distance of the hole. If he is still not out he goes to (3) offers. Here he puts the puss in the hole and hits it to make it hop and then putting it in the air. He makes a game by three rounds or by hitting the puss a certain distance. Each team plays until all players are out. The team with the most games wins. game for the spring DICT CEN.
