According to the best authorities, the flag of the Society was originally, all pink, with two clasped hands, extending to the elbow, and a spruce tree in the centre. etc. 126 A few of the founders stuck to the plain Pink for two or three years, but after the death of Barnes, and the blowing down of the Native Hall in 1846, the Pink, White and Green, became the recognized Native Flag.
