Summary:Seaduck . . . that prince of his line, the eider. Around the rock points comes their grand rush, twenty or forty abreast, heads slightly tilted down and their white backs gleaming in the sun. They keep to the rock shores, leaving the beaches of the upper bay to the commoner ducks and geese of early fall. Later the eider seeks the far outer islands.
