| Summary: | moldow I tell you what they used to make the beards out of now, most of the people I've seen making them. They used to go in the woods and get . . . what they used to call the malldow off the trees. You could see it on trees - just like hair or like whiskers - grows down on the trees. You get off big handfuls of it, and they used to bring out that and glue it on and glue the moustache. That would be light grey, and some/would be brown, and different colours according to the way it would turn with the sun, on the trees. PRINTED ITEM DNE-cit G. M.
