Sam's] watchful eye, beside the property he had a full view of the Bay from east to west and near by a SPY HOUSE with a 50 foot flag pole a 5 ft long telescope Glass like he used at the Icefields loaned fom the Neptune for the summer with this he would spend hours sitting in the Spy House watching all the fishing boats with this glass he could see approx 2 miles to Isle-au-Bois and if a fisherman was sitting down on the job instead of jigging or trying to catch the cod he was in for a calling down when he returned.
