| Summary: | blessed At Richard's Harbour everyone used to use the adjective "bless�d" when referring to sun, moon, sky, stars, rain, snow, thunder, lightning, and wind. It was used in the same tone as used when saying "Bless�d Lord,"or "Bless�d God." The pe- culiar thing I remember about this is that people would only use the wprd "bless�d rain" when it was raining, or "bless�d moon" when the moon was up, particularly on a clear night. Again it would only be used when a person was looking at the moon, for example, a person would say "The bless�d moon is big tonight." They would say, "Is the moon up yet?" not "Is the bless�d moon up yet?" There was no saying that said you must use blessed like this,it was a custom that everyone adopted and accepted.
