[1786] 1792 CARTWRIGHT iii, 228 White spar is very common; and several samples of that beautiful one called Labrador spar, has been picked up by the Esquimaux, of which there is one large piece in the Leverian Museum. 1861 DE BOILIEU 237 Labrador abounds in white spar, and also in small specimens of that beautiful one called 'Labrador spar.'
