| Summary: | killick n For an anchor they had a kellick; that is a wooden anchor. Two pieces of woor are nailed together like a cross, rods are placed round the sides, and a good size rock is put in between the rods to sink it. A rope is fastened to the kellick, and they used it to to anchor their boat on the fishing ground. This rope is called a road. PRINTED ITEM G. M.
