Two pieces of wood about 1 1/2 ft in length are nailed in the shape of a cross. a hole is put in each end (4) and the sticks are put into the holes. a spruce stone is used because it won't come out, and the sticks are tied at the top. sometimes a brick is used; other Yes DICT CEN.
