| Summary: | jack 1 n "Jack-knife" was a game played exclusively by the boys. Two persons were necessary to play the game. Usually there were five of six players. The idea of the game was to use an open pocket knife and stick it in the ground as it flipped through the air. If the knife didn't stick in the ground, one was considered "out" and the next player took his turn.
