Summary: | after a N'ar breakfast for the after guards (?). (speech indistinct. Seems to be _garrets_ rather than _guards_, but difficult to distinguish. See slip on _after guards galley (?)_ - itself also from this informant and indistinctly spoken. May be connected with _garret_ recorded elsewhere on slips from tape. Phrase here refers to group of men who use the _afterguards galley_ (?) illegally by taking provisions from it at night. The galley is evidently the one used to prepare food for this partic- ular group of men - the _after guards_ (?).
