Summary:Job's Comforters The Jessy was a brigantine. The Fanny was a barquentine. They were the last of a fleet of square rigged small vessels owned by Job Brothers and Company, some seven in all and known among the boys who lived in the forecastles and climbed the yards as "Job's Comforters".
