Summary:indian n It is used in the same manner as Maidenhair. . The Indian Tea grows on a Bush which riseth to the size of a Gooseberry Bush. Its Sprays shoot out trifoliated, pointed Leaves--the upper part green, the under part a beautiful Orange Colour. I observ'd they gave their fishing people this Tea for Breakfast, which was put in a Pott with water and Molasses. All this was boil'd togather and given them with Fish and Biscuits. This is the common people's Breakfast and Supper in Newfoundland. DNE-cit PRINTED ITEM 19 July 1968 W. J.
